Victoria has been teaching classical piano to students of all ages and levels both in her private studio and on faculty at several universities and music schools.

Teaching involves a profoundly personal interaction in which ideally it is the teacher’s duty and aspiration to understand the abilities, strengths, and needs of each student, moving them to the next stage accordingly. It is important for Victoria that students work past pianistic challenges by exploring and comprehending various compositional periods and styles. Victoria also finds it important to guide them towards a desirable balance between gaining new skills, finding efficient work tools, and developing artistic freedom, all of which are both compelling and necessary during regular work at an advanced level.

Victoria works extensively as a vocal coach and a collaborative recitalist with instrumentalists and singers.

While working as a piano teacher, a vocal coach, and a chamber music coach, Victoria finds that even though all of these roles are
different in their nature and focus, the ultimate goal in each of them is analogous: to help each student broaden their musical understanding and develop the necessary tools to fully realize the range of intentions of a musical work.
