Victoria Schwartzman maintains a select private piano studio for children, adults, and advanced pianists in Bergen County and New York City. Drawing on an active international performing career and university teaching experience, she offers individualized instruction for students of all ages and levels, from beginners to conservatory-bound musicians.

“Teaching involves a profoundly personal interaction in which I aim to understand the abilities, the strengths, and the needs of each student, moving them to the next stage accordingly. It is important to me that students work past pianistic challenges and explore how style, structure, and expression shift across different composers and periods.
I place strong value on a balanced approach: building solid, reliable technical foundations, developing efficient and thoughtful practice habits, and encouraging artistic independence. My aim is for students to feel both supported and free—able to express the intentions of the music fully while developing the tools needed for long-term artistic growth.
While working as a piano teacher, a vocal coach, and a chamber music coach, I find that even though all of these roles are different in their nature and focus, the ultimate goal in each of them is analogous: to help each student broaden their musical understanding and develop the necessary tools to fully realize the range of intentions of a musical work.”
Victoria Schwartzman welcomes piano students from Englewood, Tenafly, Cresskill, Demarest, Fort Lee, and surrounding Bergen County communities, as well as students in New York City.
Lessons are available for children, adults, beginners, and advanced pianists.
